This week is drug free week at Samuel's school. I knew about it but didn't give it a second thought because he's in kindergarten. How much will they talk about drugs?
He came home today, proudly displaying his red ribbon.
"Mom, it's drug week at school!"
When I asked him what that meant, he told me what drugs were.
"You know mom, beer and smoking, things that are really bad for you. I told Mrs D that you guys drink beer all the time and that I even try it sometimes."
Great, kindergarten teachers don't really believe what their students tell them, do they? Or should I be expecting a visit from social services?
