Happy 17th!

It was Gabrielle's 17th birthday today. It's crazy how quickly time is flying with her. She had her "shopping" party with friends yesterday. They all went down to a funky part of town and spent a few hours shopping, followed by dinner. She seemed to have fun,

Today, we started the day with donuts and ended it with pizza and cake with family. All in all, everyone had a good time and best of all Gabrielle felt special. She got plenty of the clothes she loves. We all, including Gab, think they're tacky. But in her mindset, the tackier, the better. One of her gifts was a tanktop that says, "Queen of Tcky" She loves it and will proudly wear it to school along with her tiara and tutu. All I can say is that it sure beats that shy, insecure girl that we knew a few years ago. On the bottom is Sophia and the rest of us singing Happy Birthday. As you can hear, Sophia loves to sing.
