Lately, Samuel has been showing some interest in learning to read. The problem is that he won't really let me teach him so he is basically teaching himself to read. If he would let me teach him phonetically, I think he could be reading in a few weeks. But, I've taken a step back and let him call the shots. The last thing I want to do is turn him off to reading. I'm pretty sure he'll take off in kindergarten. So here's a little video of him "reading".

Way to go Samuel!! How cool was that to get to hear you read. I remember when Anna Cath, Julieanne and Na learned to read using the Bob books. Keep up the good work - maybe you can read to us when we come home this July.
