Heavy heart

I just got off the phone with George. Tony, his dad, has been sick off and on for a couple of months. They've been treating him like it pneumonia but he's not getting better. He called George and told him today that they fear it is something really serious. He never came out and said cancer but that it probably what he is referring to. We will most likely know this week. My heart is heavy right now. He smoked for fifty years. He's almost seventy and has worked hard his entire life. I'm not sure how much fight he's got in him. So I pray that the news we receive is not what we expect. I'll keep you updated.
