Finally!!!

If you don't like reading about bodily functions, stop now and read no further.

Sophia is potty trained! To some this might not seem like a big deal. To me, it's huge! It's been ten days since I decided to not let her wear diapers.(except for night) I knew that she could do it but I had to make the decision to be consistent and stick with it.

The problems came with the pooping. For some reason, she didn't want to. Poor kid held it in for the first three days. On the fourth day, I found her in the corner of a closet, crouched down and crying. It hurt her so much.

"DIAPER!!!"

But I persevered, knowing that she would eventually get over it.

On Monday, I got this e-mail from her babysitter:

I just wanted to let you know that Sophia pooped on the potty! We are having a huge celebration! :)She is so excited! she has told everyone that comes in the door that she pooped! We are sooooooooooo proud of her.

I've got to say that if it wasn't for her babysitter working with her when I work, she wouldn't be potty trained.

So, that's one milestone I am so happy that she has reached.
