Zoo

Here are our zoo pictures.

The flamingo was fascinating to Samuel. He loved that they slept on one leg.
These are the termite towers. Obviously, Samuel thought it was the coolest thing ever. Anything that looks like a big pile of poop, is incredibly cool. I loved the gorillas. We watched them for quite awhile. One of the guys was trying to make us laugh. So smart.
Samuel's favorite place by far was the reptile house. This is the Gila monster. We spent a lot of time with the reptiles. He wanted to know what the names were, what they ate, if they were venomous. Sophia just waddled around and called everything puppy.
The cutest animals were the pandas. This is the mama and her baby was asleep close by.


Sophia's favorite part was the petting zoo. She was absolutely fascinated with the poop coming out of the goats at an alarming rate. She watched forever.
Three sleeping pigs. Sophia wanted to pet the little guys so badly, but they kept on snorting in their sleep. She kept her distance.

Overall, it was a fun trip, even with the grumpy teenager. Samuel was delighted and incredibly curious about everything. Four must be the perfect age for zoo trips.
